National Tax Limitation Committee President Lew Uhler Endorses Bob Whalen for 29th Assembly District

(Fresno)—Today, National Tax Limitation Committee President Lew Uhler announced his support for Fresno Deputy District Attorney Bob Whalen for the open 29th Assembly District, adding his name to a long list of supporters that includes Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin, Police Chief Jerry Dyer, Supervisor Judy Case, and Sheriff Margaret Mims among dozens of others.
“Californians are ready for new leadership that will turn this economy around and fix this state,” said Lew Uhler, President of the National Tax Limitation Committee. “Bob Whalen has proven his commitment to protecting taxpayers and reforming government. He is the right choice, and we are proud to support him.”
The National Tax Limitation Committee is one of California’s oldest and largest taxpayer organizations. Lew Uhler is widely recognized as a national leader among taxpayer groups and as a trusted source for pro-taxpayer information.
Clovis City Councilman and Fresno County Deputy District Attorney Bob Whalen has earned a reputation as a “tough on crime” advocate and “friend of the taxpayer” who has been a champion for small business growth. Whalen is largely considered the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in the 29th Assembly Seat.
