Assemblyman Mike Villines is stepping down due to term limits. “Having served on the Clovis City Council with Bob Whalen for several years, I know first-hand that he is committed to protecting taxpayers from higher taxes and runaway government spending,” said Councilman Magsig. “Just as important, Bob Whalen is committed to easing the regulatory burden on small businesses so they can grow and create new jobs. I am proud to support him.” Councilmember Nathan Magsig is a popular taxpayer advocate and is widely considered an up-and-coming leader in Fresno County political circles.
